This book gave me a helping hand , because my 5th grade daughter is not the best @ math . But she bought this book on her fire and she worked on this book for hours and she really liked it ! But that's not the best part yet...... when she entered middle school her grades went way up !!!! ) thank you so much!!!!! and please please pleas continue to write these awesome and helping books!!!!!
Use this when not able to be at home to home-school. It saves on carrying a pile of books and has wonderful lessons that my child is able to easily pick up. I pick lessons that have to do with what he is learning at home.
I was looking for a math textbook for my son. There isn't anything wrong with the book, it just wasn't what I was looking for.
Real life problems with examples and practice problems and shorter lessons help keep my student interested. Three problems you have to handwrite the problems out to be solved (or have the student do it); no answer key; some of the example answers are wrong.
Price is right and works great in my one-to-one classroom.
The kindle version does not give you the answers and im not sure if the website does, but I have to say for being free. It has a ton of good lessons in it that are great for anyone refreshing themselves or learning algebra for the first time. I put the lessons on my phone and have been working on them at work. The only down side is not having an answer key but you can still get allot out of the lessons plus its free. And there is a web site you can go to that is also very helpful that goes along with the material. This actually would be great for home school kids and anyone that wants to improve on there education.
